About Me

Hi, I'm Sid Harsha — welcome to my corner of the internet.

I work in Project Management at a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in New Jersey. I didn't start there, though — my career actually began in sales, back when the 2008 market crash left my MBA batch with fewer glamorous options than we'd planned for. That detour turned out to be the useful one: it's where I learned that every senior role, project management included, is some version of selling a plan to people who didn't ask for it.

Before any of that, I grew up moving. Nine schools in twelve years, following my father's postings across Hyderabad, Bathinda, Bhuj, Jorhat, New Delhi, Chennai, Pune, and Bengaluru. I live in Mumbai now — the longest I've stayed anywhere, which still feels a little strange to say.

This blog is where the rest of it goes: reflections on work and career, life, travel, books, and the occasional attempt to make sense of what AI is actually doing to all of it.

Off the clock: cricket, swimming, and a record collection anchored by Steely Dan, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, and Rage Against the Machine — a combination that confuses people, and I've made peace with that.
